AI Timelapse Video Privacy and Cookies Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This Privacy and Cookies Policy explains how ZestGPT ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use AI Timelapse Video, including the website, Chrome extension, account features, payment pages, and related AI image processing services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the product, maintain accounts, process uploaded images, manage credits or subscriptions, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

  • Account information: your email address, account identifier, profile information provided by the sign-in provider, credit balance, subscription status, and account activity needed to operate the service.
  • Chrome profile information: when you use the Chrome extension, the extension uses Chrome's identity API to read your Chrome profile ID and email address so we can create or locate your AI Timelapse Video account.
  • Uploaded images: photos you choose to upload for the requested image processing, generated result image URLs, file type, and file size.
  • Payment and billing information: payment status, plan, transaction identifiers, and billing metadata from our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, logs, cookies, and usage events needed for security, diagnostics, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • Support communications: messages, email address, screenshots, and other information you send when contacting us.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve AI Timelapse Video and related ZestGPT services.
  • Authenticate users and maintain account, credit, and subscription state.
  • Upload selected images, send image URLs to the requested processing service, and return generated results.
  • Process payments, issue credits, handle refunds or billing support, and prevent payment abuse.
  • Monitor performance, debug errors, protect against fraud, spam, and unauthorized access.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related messages.

3. Uploaded Images and AI Processing

When you upload an image, we temporarily store it or make it available through a secure object URL so the AI processing service can generate the requested result. We use uploaded images only to provide the requested processing, troubleshoot failures, protect the service, and maintain usage records. We do not sell uploaded images or use them to train AI/ML models.

4. Google API Services User Data and Limited Use

The Application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We access Google user data only through the permissions you grant and use it only to provide or improve the user-facing features that you request. We limit access to the minimum scopes needed for those features. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or ML models.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate AI Timelapse Video. Depending on the feature and checkout you use, these include Clerk for authentication and account state; cloud hosting, delivery, and object-storage providers for service operation and temporary upload/output storage; OpenAI and xAI for the relevant supported AI workflows; and Creem, Stripe, or FastSpring for payment, subscriptions, tax handling, invoices, fraud checks, refunds, and billing support. We also use security, diagnostics, and support providers to prevent abuse and resolve errors. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to us and are subject to appropriate contractual or technical safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, rights holders, or the service, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure product usage, improve performance, and protect against abuse. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but some account, payment, or security features may not work if required cookies are disabled.

7. Data Retention

We retain account, billing, and usage information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and prevent abuse. Uploaded images and generated outputs are retained only as needed for product delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and operational reliability, then deleted or de-identified under our operational retention controls, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Information Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet service is fully secure, but we limit access to personal data and use security practices appropriate for the type of information processed.

9. International Transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, or other lawful safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal information. You may also opt out of marketing communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
